Issue 3

This issue includes a page entitled 'talk show pinball'. It can be printed out if 'save imaged' & used as a board for a game. The game is a variant of those sports dice games that used to be popular years ago such as soccer and cricket dice, whereby the number rolled corresponded to an action taking place in an imaginary sports event. In this game the number rolled pertains to the events occuring at a jeremy kyle style talk show.

Roll a die and times your score by ten, the number will correspond with a number on the board. Continue rolling until you score 50 by rolling a 5, this represents the end of your turn.

Message......

Hello folks. Lovelly to have you here.

Herein is all of the boring stuff.

About Blythemporia.

Blythemporia illustrated online is a regular, bitesize journal, collecting together scraps of comics and visual art. Mostly by myself, Ben Peter Johnson. I hope it will provide some amusement and pleasure to its readers.

Visual art is such a vibrant language, let us keep talking it.

And by that I mean I will always be interested in contributions from all sorts, email me any time.

Disclosure policy.

I am not really sure what a disclosure policy is. But I get the impression that it all has something to do with transparent intent and honesty. Well I honestly intend to show you my sometimes rather juvenile artwork, for better or worse. Seriously though, I can tell you with confidence that I have no intention of selling your browsing details to market researchers, unscrupulous advertisers or any other jonties.

Advertising?

I am not currently advertising things on this blog and have no plans to do so in the future, apart from the occasional plug for things I really like. This may change at some point and I suppose I am open to suggestions. UPDATE 21/03/15 Actually, I AM thinking about freeing up some space for advertising but i'm not sure quite what to do yet. I am not against ads per se but I don't want to obscure my website with thingies. This blog is artistically obscure. I dont want it to be artistically obscured! If you would like to advertise here drop me an email sometime.

Welcome all!

About the author..... Ben Peter Johnson has been scribbling daft pictures since before he can remember. His first comic strip was a piece of fan fiction involving snoopy ( the dog off 'peanuts'), Doctor Who and the computer off of Blake's 7 fighting a nimon, which is a bull that shoots lazer beams from it's horns. Ben was 4 years old. Very little has changed. Once his father came home with a roll of printer paper which Ben filled with pictures of frogs. When he ran out of printer paper, he used toilet paper, carefully re-rolled the sheets and placed back on the roll holder. Years later, Ben attempted to write a hard hitting drama involving domestic cats but no-one got it. When he was about 7 years old,Ben teamed up with Steven Green to produce a magazine about the saturday morning tv show and toy line 'Mask'. The only edition was passed around at lunch break and lost forever. Ben could not read or write terribly well so his parents got him subscriptions to the Beano and 2000ad, which was full of sex and violence, 2000ad i mean, not the Beano. Although that had quite a bit of pea smuggling as I recall. Ben studied art and design at Yeovil School of art in the mid nineties. There was very little digital equipment about. Windows had just come out and the business students hogged the p.c's. Ben put a biscuit under the camera in the bbc computer suite and an 8- bit jammy dodger came on the screen. Ben has had work published in Temple APA, Hallowscream, Viz and The Shepton Mallet journal. Ben loves webcomics and hopes you do too.
